Middle School - Math

Ms. Joan Morsa

About Me

This is my 6th year at St. Joseph Regional Elementary.  I first came here when I began working for Camden County Educational Commission as an Instructional Aide. I was very fortunate to be placed at St. Joe where I was immediately welcomed in as family.  This year I began teaching  6-8th Math and 7th Religion.

Teaching Style/Philosophy/Interesting Things I Do In the Classroom

After teaching main concepts to the full class, I like to break the students into small groups for peer to peer mentoring as I work with each group individually.  I am filled with joy as the students begin to grasp new concepts that they initially found challenging.

What I Like Most About St. Joseph Regional School

From the very beginning, I felt welcomed.  St. Joe has a family atmosphere that permeates every aspect of our school.

Why I Would Recommend St. Joseph Regional School

St. Joe offers a strong, high level curriculum that allows for focus on the individual.  The teachers all care for the students and create a family atmosphere that encourages learning.

Interests Outside of Teaching/Personal Life

At home I enjoy spending time with my 4 Beagles.  My son and I travel to participate in competitive Pokemon Card tournaments.  I have a strong passion for theater and am President of  Hammonton Towne Drama, the youth theater in town.  I also am a 4th Degree World Certified Black Belt in Martial Art Tae Kwon Do and a Certified Personal Trainer.
