Kindergarten
Mrs. Deborah Wagner
About Me
My early experience includes working as both a preschool teacher and a compensatory education teacher with grades 6-8 in the areas of math and reading. Although I enjoyed both ends of the spectrum and consider myself fortunate to have had such diverse experiences, I feel blessed to have found my true passion, kindergarten! 2018 began my 29th year at St. Joe’s where I continue to do what I absolutely love, teach kindergarten.
Teaching Style/Philosophy/Interesting Things I Do In the Classroom
I believe that kindergarten is such a unique and significant year not only for the children, but for parents as well. It is their first genuine experience with formal education. I am eager to provide the children entrusted to my care with a safe, secure, and educationally enriching environment which will promote the learning process. Children learn and thrive by various methods. Therefore, it is crucial to differentiate learning whenever possible in attempt to reach all types of learners, especially the most challenging.
What I Like Most About St. Joseph Regional School
The faculty and administration are extremely dedicated to providing a high caliber of education. We strive to promote and foster the total development of each child: spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and physically. Catholic values, which are instilled and are at our core, continue to be evident in our children beyond their years at St. Joe’s.
Why I Would Recommend St. Joseph Regional School
I value St. Joseph's dedication to academic and spiritual excellence therefore, my husband and I chose to send our son to St. Joe. We continue to be proud of our decision, however: the true and ultimate reward is to know that he is also appreciative and proud of the education and experiences that St. Joseph has provided him. The faculty strives to work together and also with parents.Teachers are highly dedicated and passionate professionals who work diligently to not only develop the entire child, but also to instill a true love of learning in each student. An education at St. Joseph is one to be proud and continues a lifetime.
